Band of Vintners is more than a wine brand, it’s an alliance.

The Band was formed in 2014 by seven wine industry friends at a tasting group led by Dan Petroski. Their collective goal of producing one wine that provided exceptional value from Napa Valley became the anthem for Band of Vintners.

Today the Band is led by two intrepid young winemakers and a Master Sommelier. Committed to continuing the tradition of tasting the world’s greatest wines together, we are striving to redefine what great wine can be.  We believe in sustainable practices and producing wines that are within reach for everyone so we’ve joined forces to get our wines out to the world.

Our Mission

Brittany, Evyn, and Des are building the band with a singular mission: to craft exceptional wines that honor the environment, uplift the community, and celebrate the next generation in winemaking.

Our Wines

Each bottle of Band of Vintners wine tells a story of dedication, passion, and respect for nature. From our vibrant Sauvignon Blanc to our robust Cabernet, each varietal showcases the distinct characteristics of our Napa Valley home. We invite you to explore our collection and experience the fruits of our labor.

This Napa Valley Cabernet cost only $35. Now, it’s back after a yearslong hiatus

“Thus far, band manager Echavarrie, a former French Laundry sommelier, has recruited two up-and-coming Napa Valley wine consultants, Britt Richards and Evyn Cameron, for the relaunch. It came at an optimal time: The wine industry is in a major downturn, yet Napa Valley's tasting fees and wine prices have reached an all-time high. The current release of the Band of Vintners Cabernet is priced at $35, whereas the average cost of a bottle of Napa Valley wine — not just Cabernet — is $108.”

9 Next-Generation California Winemakers to Watch

Britt Richards
Alta Nova, Band of Vintners, Head High Wines

Richards worked at Chappellet, Jordan, Keller Estate and Peter Michael before launching her own consulting business, where she has most recently partnered with Napa Valley-based Master Sommelier Desmond Echavarrie in Alta Nova Cellars to make an outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon priced under $100. To that end, the two have also partnered to make Band of Vintners, which probably offers the best quality-to-price ratio of any Napa Valley Cabernet known to man and woman right now.
